Terms & Conditions of Participation for Teacher Leaders and Staff

Thank you for your interest in serving as a teacher leader or staff member on Ambassador Leadership Summits. We value the relationships we create with teachers, students and families. It is important that you read these Terms and Conditions of Travel and fully understand your role before applying.

Your assignment for a position at a summit is dependent upon availability of positions, review of your qualifications, and successful references and background check. Your participation is conditioned on your express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions during the application process via your electronic signature. We may update, edit or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. You may view and print the most current Terms and Conditions now and at any time at AmbassadorLeaders.com/leader-terms.

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, both teacher leaders and staff are referred to collectively as program leaders.

If you have any questions, please contact us at info@ambassadorleaders.com.

summit assignment and participation

Ambassador Leaders has the sole discretion in all matters concerning summit assignment and participation and reserves the right to accept or decline any person with or without cause, or remove a program leader either prior to or during the summit for any reason and without obligation to that individual. Ambassador Leaders does not discriminate based on race, national origin, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by applicable law.

Upon the program leader’s acceptance of assignment, Ambassador Leaders incurs significant expenses arranging travel, accommodations and making other arrangements for the program leader’s participation. In the event of an emergency or unavoidable circumstances whereby the program leader cannot fulfill his/her assignment, all reasonable efforts must be made to notify the program office as soon as known and no later than 30 days prior to the departure date. Failure to notify the program office in a timely manner may affect future assignments. The program leader is not eligible for reimbursement of incurred expenses or any other financial liability without prior explicit authorization of a program office representative.

A program leader may participate in the same summit as his or her family member (spouse or domestic partner, if both are assigned to the same summit; or his/her child, niece, nephew, or grandchild, if the student is enrolled in the summit), as long as the family member’s participation does not interfere with the program leader’s ability to fully meet his/her responsibilities, including the on-site training. In order to provide the enrolled student who is a family member a full educational experience and not impact the experience of other students, the program leader may not be assigned as the family member’s teacher leader or roomed with the student.
